What happens after I sign up?

We immediately begin sending legal opt-out requests to active political campaigns. This process typically completes within 24-48 hours.

How long until I see results?

Most campaigns comply immediately. By law, they have 10 business days to honor opt-out requests. You should see a dramatic reduction within 2 weeks.

Where is my Evidence Locker?

Your Evidence Locker is available in your dashboard. It contains all opt-out requests, delivery confirmations, and legal documentation.

Account Management

How do I update my payment method?

Visit your Customer Portal to securely update your payment information through Stripe.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel anytime through your Customer Portal. Your opt-out requests remain active, but you won't receive new campaign coverage.

What if I need a refund?

Contact support@donotcontact.net with your specific situation. We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Troubleshooting

I'm still receiving political messages

Check your Evidence Locker to see which campaigns have been contacted. New campaigns may emerge, and if you have an active Spam Shield subscription we will continuously add them to your opt-out list.

A campaign isn't honoring my opt-out request

If a campaign continues messaging you after 10 business days, use your Evidence Locker documentation to file a formal complaint with the FTC for emails, FCC for texts, or state attorneys general for other violations.

I can't access my account

Account access is managed through Stripe's secure customer portal. If you're having trouble accessing your account, contact support@donotcontact.net with your email address and we'll help you regain access.

What laws protect me?

The CAN-SPAM Act and TCPA specify how campaigns must honor valid opt-out requests for commercial emails and certain texts. Violations may incur penalties up to $50,120 per email or $1,500 per text.

How do I file a complaint?

Use your Evidence Locker to file complaints with the FTC for emails, FCC for texts, or state attorneys general for other violations.

Can I take legal action?

Yes, your Evidence Locker provides the documentation needed for formal complaints or legal action against non-compliant campaigns.
